TRAVEL TO BRASIL | COVID-19 TEST
Published on Dec. 17, in Ordinance No. 630 of the Presidency of the Republic / Civil House.
The document establishes the requirement to present a COVID-19 test with a negative result for embarking on trips to Brazil from 12/30/2020.
The test must be carried out up to 72 hours before departure.
A Traveler’s Health Declaration (DSV) must also be submitted.
ATTENTION: these rules are applicable to Brazilian and foreign citizens.
Foreign citizens are still allowed to enter the country by air, provided that the appropriate condition of each traveler are satisfied, including a visa (if applicable).
It is not mandatory to present health insurance.
- The humanitarian visa program has been temporarily suspended due to Covid-19 pandemic. Further notice will be published as soon as the program is resumed.
The Brazilian Ordinance number 470 of 2 October 2020 informs VIVIS holders no longer need to present health insurance to enter the country.
